Slot

Slot: One unit of inventory: a share of a screen's ad loop for a period of time.

Also called: Spot, Ad slot

Digital screens rotate several ads in a loop. A slot is one position in that loop for a set period — for example, every loop between 10am and 9pm on a weekend.
